In her usual forthright style, Anne Widdecombe expresses her views on the coaching and mentoring profession explaining why she is not convinced of its value bar a few special circumstances. She believes that everybody has the answers to their own problems and that it is people’s lack of application that creates problems in the first place. Her advice to these individuals is to “buck up” and “get up and get on with it”, clearly at odds with anyone involved in coaching and mentoring. The final section of this session involves an extended question and answer section that covers a myriad of issues, delivered in typical Anne Widdecombe style.
